Setup — three steps
- Install the app from the Shopify App Store. The permission screen asks for discounts and customers only — no order or payment access.
- Create a campaign. In the app, choose Create campaign, pick a game (Plinko, scratch card, gift box), set the prizes and their odds, and edit the copy. The preview on the right is exactly what shoppers will see.
- Turn on the theme extension. In Shopify admin go to Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds, switch LeadArcade on and save. The moment you set the campaign to Active, it is live.
Common questions
The popup doesn't show on my storefront.
- Is the theme extension on? (Customize → App embeds → LeadArcade)
- Is the campaign Active rather than a draft?
- Does the targeting cover that page? (A campaign targeted at the home page won't appear on product pages.)
- If you played recently in the same browser, the frequency rule hides it. Try an incognito window.
- Is your subscription active? Without one the popup never shows — check the Plan page.
No discount code is generated.
- Automatic single-use codes need an active subscription. Without one you must enter a fixed code on the prize.
- If the prize type is "No win", no code is issued — that is expected.
Which details can I collect?
In the campaign editor, the Details to collect card lets you set first name, last name, email and phone each to Don't ask, Optional or Required. One rule: email or phone must be required — Shopify cannot create a customer without one of them. If you collect phone numbers you also pick a dialling code, so a visitor typing 0532… is saved as +90532….
Where do I see the collected details?
In your Shopify admin under Customers, filtered by tag:leadarcade. We don't store them; they are created directly in your store. The Data and privacy page in the app links straight there.
What if a visitor doesn't want to share details?
No consent, no code. You can also set every field to Don't ask: the game still runs and still issues a code, without asking for anything.
What does it cost?
$14.90 per month, with the first 7 days free. The charge appears on your Shopify invoice. You can cancel from the Plan page at any time without contacting support; cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
What happens if I cancel?
The popup stops showing on your storefront. Your campaigns and records are kept as they are and start running again the moment you subscribe.
What happens if I uninstall?
The theme extension goes inactive and leaves nothing behind in your theme. Your campaign and game records are deleted within 48 hours. The customers already in Shopify stay yours.
